DIY productive weekend (bracelets and denim shorts)

This weekend was really fun for me. I finally got to do some of the things I've been planning to... I made a bunch of bracelets today and I'm so happy about it.. 'Cause I love the whole "arm party" trend, and I've always been the one to wear a whole bunch of bracelets, but making them myself just makes them that much more special and personal.. So I don't feel like it's just a trend, but rather something that always is my style.

I've been listening to Regina Spektor for the entire afternoon and enjoying the sunshine peeking through my window.. I enjoy the days when I feel like myself... You know? Probably not. :) But, doing these kinda things make me feel like I'm the real me, what I've always been.. And sometimes with jobs and errands and people, you kinda loose yourself in the speed of life.

Ok, enough with something only I can understand. :D

And yesterday I've decided to give some new life to my old jeans. These were once just plain, long jeans. And then I've cut them and distressed them and wore them like that for 3 or 4 years.. Now I don't feel like I would wear them anymore (plus, I have another pair that I practically live in during summer, so having a few denim shorts is always useless) so I've decided to add some gold lace and make them nice and pretty again..

I really like them now, they are definitely refreshed! :)

So after all that hard work :P I think I will relax for the rest of the evening and just enjoy some television and junk food.. After all, it is sunday! :)
